Lily's small screen debut

We're on YouTube now! I've just uploaded a few to start. They span from her very first week up to now.

Looking back at the video of her at one week old just blows me away. She's getting so big; it's almost hard to even remember her ever being so tiny.

6 months old

Oh my goodness! Lily turned 6 months old on Monday.

I forgot to take her picture that day until she was already down for the night, but I had to have the picture! So, I sneaked into to her room and snapped a quick pic :) Not the greatest picture, but I finally caught her on camera sleeping with her hands behind her head.



Lily is still scooting backwards, but a week or so ago she debuted a new trick. I call this the quad-pod...



Now she even brings a knee down to the ground, but she just collapses from there. It seems like she knows what she needs to do; she's just figuring out how it all comes together. Pretty sure she's a baby genius.

Mother's Day!

Yesterday was my first Mother's Day.

I got my very first Mother's Day school craft gift and I love, love, love it! Of course, Lily's daycare ladies probably had a big hand in the making of this one :)



We were both fighting some serious allergies over the weekend, so our mommy-daughter picture isn't the prettiest. But here it is anyway...



I feel so blessed every day to be Lily's mommy.

Polvos!

A few weeks back we were in Austin and had lunch with my dad at one of our very favorite places to eat in Austin - a Mexican food restaurant called Polvos. Mmmmm Mmm!

In case any of you who send Lily all of those adorable outfits are wondering why she is wearing only a diaper...she had a not-so-little accident while we were there and, of course, it was the one time I didn't have an extra outfit in the diaper bag. Good thing it was already warming up outside.
