4 Months Plus
Time for a real post!
Lillian is over 4 months old now. She saw the doctor on March 9, right at 4 months. She weighed in at 12 lbs. 6.5 oz. and 24 inches long. I cannot remember her head circumference at the moment, but she has an average size noggin.
She hit some big milestones since my last detailed post.
Our little girl now laughs...sweetest sound ever!
She has also become much more verbal including some very high pitched squeals, and when she's really cranky and tired she makes a ma, ma, ma sound. Of course, it's not the real deal yet but I enjoy it none the less. She isn't saying dada yet, but anytime I say it to her she breaks into a big smile :)
She started rolling over from back to belly. First, in her crib. We would come in to get her from a nap and there she would be, squirming around on her belly. Then very quickly, she started flipping over on her play mat. Now, almost anytime we lay her on her back when she's awake, she'll roll over.
She pushes herself up to a 90 degree angle using her arms. She actually sort of enjoys tummy time now that she can look around and enjoy the view.
She is getting so strong! We'll pull her up by her hands to the sitting position and she immediately wants to stand. So up she goes! We hold her hands, but much of the weight is bared by her and her chunky little legs.
